Learning to have difficult conversations is something that tends to haunt professional women at all stages of their career especially in the male dominated industry of AEC. While gender roles historically have encouraged us to be complacent, palatable, and a pleasure to be around no matter the cost in the workplace, discovering your voice to have difficult or uncomfortable conversations will increase your confidence and personal sense of safety. This valuable soft skill will help you trail-blaze how women work and lead in the AEC workplace. We encourage everyone within our community, no matter your experience level, to join us and grow your confidence in how to have difficult or uncomfortable conversations.
